Meet Michael

Michael is an IT Professional since the late nineties. Like you, he hates spam and will never use your email address other than getting this newsletter. Email addresses are stored encrypted. No other information is collected.

After years of manually checking dozens of vendor blogs, security bulletins, cloud platform updates, and IT news feeds every week, Michael created SysBrief to solve his own problem: staying informed without the noise.

What started as a personal script to aggregate IT infrastructure news has grown into a curated newsletter trusted by system administrators who need to stay ahead of patches, cloud changes, security incidents, and DevOps trends—without wasting hours hunting for updates across multiple platforms.

Our Privacy Promise

Your privacy is non-negotiable. We only collect your email address, and it's encrypted in our database. We never share, sell, or use your email for anything other than delivering the newsletter you signed up for. No tracking pixels. No analytics on who opens what. Just clean, curated IT infrastructure and security news—three times a week.

Why SysBrief Exists

No Spam, Ever

Only three weekly emails (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays). With some minimal and non agressive partners links within the newsletter from time to time

Encrypted & Private

Your email is encrypted at rest. We collect nothing else. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.

Sysadmin-Focused

Curated for real infrastructure work—cloud updates, CVEs, Kubernetes releases, database patches, and security incidents.

Built by Sysadmins

Not a marketing team. Just an IT pro who understands what matters when you're managing multi-cloud infrastructure.
